Proof Cards

Proof Cards are the core of ProofFabric — verified records of work you've shipped into the world.

Proof Types

Live Product

Something shipped that works. This includes:

  • SaaS applications
  • Mobile apps
  • Developer tools
  • APIs and services
  • Websites and web apps

Published Content

Something shipped with reach. This includes:

  • Newsletters
  • Blog posts
  • Podcasts
  • YouTube videos
  • Online courses

Creating a Proof Card

Step 1: Select Type

Choose between Live Product or Published Content based on what you've shipped.

Step 2: Enter URL

Provide the URL where your work lives. We'll:

  • Verify the URL is accessible
  • Capture an automatic screenshot
  • Check if the site is live

Step 3: Add Details

Fill in the card information:

  • Name: The project or content name
  • Description: A brief summary of what it is
  • Tech Stack: Technologies used (for products)
  • Role: Your role in creating this work

Step 4: Add Evidence

Optionally verify your ownership with:

  • Domain verification (TXT record)
  • GitHub repository linking
  • Revenue verification (coming soon)

Step 5: Save and Share

Your proof card is now ready to share! You'll get:

  • A public URL for the card
  • Embed codes for websites
  • Badge codes for GitHub READMEs

Evidence Blocks

Each proof card can have multiple evidence blocks:

Co-Builders

Worked on a project with others? ProofFabric lets you give credit where it's due with the Co-Builders feature. Each co-builder gets their own card with their own story, linked to the same project.

Principle: Your card, your story. Shared proof, individual credit.

Inviting Co-Builders

  1. Open your proof card
  2. Find the Team section in the sidebar
  3. Click Invite Co-Builder
  4. Enter their email address
  5. Select their contribution level:
    • Co-Builder: Equal partner in building the project
    • Contributor: Made meaningful contributions
    • Advisor: Provided guidance and advice
  6. Optionally add a personal message
  7. Click Send Invite

The invitee will receive an email with a link to accept the invite.

Accepting an Invite

When you receive a co-builder invite:

  1. Click the link in your email
  2. Sign in or create an account (if needed)
  3. Enter your role on the project
  4. Optionally add builder notes about your contributions
  5. Click Accept

You'll now have your own proof card for the project, linked to the original card. Your card shows up on your profile, and you can customize your role description.

What Co-Builders Get

  • Their own proof card linked to the project
  • Listed on the original card's "Built With" section
  • Full control over their own card's role and visibility
