Proof Cards are the core of ProofFabric — verified records of work you've shipped into the world.
Proof Types
Live Product
Something shipped that works. This includes:
- SaaS applications
- Mobile apps
- Developer tools
- APIs and services
- Websites and web apps
Published Content
Something shipped with reach. This includes:
- Newsletters
- Blog posts
- Podcasts
- YouTube videos
- Online courses
Creating a Proof Card
Step 1: Select Type
Choose between Live Product or Published Content based on what you've shipped.
Step 2: Enter URL
Provide the URL where your work lives. We'll:
- Verify the URL is accessible
- Capture an automatic screenshot
- Check if the site is live
Step 3: Add Details
Fill in the card information:
- Name: The project or content name
- Description: A brief summary of what it is
- Tech Stack: Technologies used (for products)
- Role: Your role in creating this work
Step 4: Add Evidence
Optionally verify your ownership with:
- Domain verification (TXT record)
- GitHub repository linking
- Revenue verification (coming soon)
Step 5: Save and Share
Your proof card is now ready to share! You'll get:
- A public URL for the card
- Embed codes for websites
- Badge codes for GitHub READMEs
Evidence Blocks
Each proof card can have multiple evidence blocks:
| Type | What It Is | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Artifact | URL + screenshot | Observed |
| Trail | GitHub repo, domain ownership | Verified |
| Outcome | Revenue data | Verified |
| Attribution | "I built this" | Stated |
Verification Badges
Your cards can earn verification badges:
| Badge | How Earned | Status |

Co-Builders
Worked on a project with others? ProofFabric lets you give credit where it's due with the Co-Builders feature. Each co-builder gets their own card with their own story, linked to the same project.
Principle: Your card, your story. Shared proof, individual credit.
